CIRCLE

Why don't the teeth of people who live in the same house and eat the same food decay in the same way? While one of the 5 siblings has no healthy teeth before reaching the age of 40, why do the other siblings have healthy teeth?

Why do two children born to the same mother have different teeth eruption times during the period when they receive milk from the same mother? For example, while one of them pulls out their first tooth in the 4th month, the other one in the 10th month?

Why do some people complain about the heat when they are all in the same house, in the same room, with the same clothes, and why do others feel cold?

Why don't two siblings have the same wrinkles as they age?

Why doesn't everyone get sunspots while sunbathing under the same sun?

Why can't some people go without drinking 3 liters of water a day, while others can't get thirsty at all?

Why do some people sweat over their lips when stressed, while others don't show their stress at all?

Why do some always think about business while others find themselves in art?

Since there are people who live without taking painkillers as well as those who can't get well without taking painkillers, there must be something strange about this... Besides; The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) defines pain as a sensory, emotional, unpleasant feeling related to one's past experiences, originating from any part of the body, with or without an organic cause. When I was even starting to question the Door-Control theory I learned in college, it was the right time for me to come across this.

Chemical, mechanical, or thermal stimuli cause tissue injury or disrupt vascular integrity, resulting in autonomic (changes in heart rate or blood pressure) or hormonal (adrenal and pituitary secretions) responses in addition to the subjective effects of pain. Knowing the pathophysiology of pain and pain pathways helps us in the treatment of pain. In recent years, the literature writes that very important developments have been achieved in the treatment of pain with a better understanding of the physiological and chemical mechanisms that play a role in pain. But why is it that even paracetamol relieves all pain of some, while no painkiller works for others… Why are people trying to provide treatment over electrical stimulation by using epilepsy drugs? Is it not possible to interfere with this electrical impulse in any other way?

Of course, these questions have sociological, psychological, and pharmacological answers, but can there be a branch of science that will deal with them all? In other words, can the person who has a sunspot actually fit into a common circle, such as a sociological accumulation of anger, a pharmacologically high liver enzyme, and a psychological inability to express his feelings? Murathan Mungan says in his poem "Either you are outside the circle or you will be in it". I perceive looking at a patient or a person from outside the circle as modern medicine. Dose-response relationship, standard deviations, diseases affecting the general population, standardized solutions. All of this, in my opinion, is a case of looking outside the circle and intervening inside the circle. Scientific and demonstrable, and of course, it should be.

There is also the case of entering the circle; it's risky here. Because the results cannot be standardized, approaches that concern the individual, not the general public, are discussed. For example, if there is eczema that cannot be eliminated with modern medicine; While the root cause of this disease may be the death of the mother, the other person may experience a great financial loss. The feelings of the person at the beginning of the disease are analyzed psychologically and sociologically, the reaction of the body is analyzed, the physiological response is examined and a circle is drawn to cover all these. Personalized treatment is planned. The same drug does not cure the same disease in everyone because not everyone is the same. Although this method is not fully defined in the medicine of Hippocrates, the medicine of Dioscorides, the medicine of Galen, the medicine of Ibn Sina, the medicine of Muhiyuddin Muhammed Ibn Arabi, the medicine of Paracelsus, it started to germinate in 1796 with the publication of Hahnemann's article named "Principle of Similarity" and his contemporaries rebelled. It is HOMEOPATHY that has begun.

Today, it is a medical art that is at the top of complementary medicine practices in the world, drug preparation methods are determined by the Commission D in Germany, and complex drug mixtures are presented in the form of preparations abroad.

Hahnemann, who is also a physician, states in his book "Organon of the Art of Healing": "The supreme and sole duty of a physician is to restore the patient to health.

Physician: If a physician sees what needs to be improved in the disease, that is, in each case (disease information, indication);

If he knows what is the effect that provides an improvement in each drug (information about the power of the drug);

After diagnosing exactly what is sick in the person, the physician applies the drug according to its therapeutic properties, precise rules, and how to use the most appropriate drug for each patient;

If the physician prepares the medicine properly according to the need, gives the right amount to the patient and repeats the dose correctly when needed;

Finally, if the physician knows the reasons that prevent treatment in every case and how to eliminate them so that the healing can be permanent, the physician will treat all the disease effectively and then he will become a real doctor. "

In other words, he explained the inside of the circle by entering the circle.

Knowing that there are homeopathic pharmacopeias, homeopathic medicine raw material monographs, factories producing homeopathic medicines, hospitals that treat only with homeopathy in the world raises a lot of curiosity about the situation in our country. In fact, according to the information announced by the Homeopathy Association, Turkey's first encounter with Homeopathy was about 175 years ago, through John Martin Honigberger. Honigberger, a student of Hahnemann, lived in Istanbul for two years and treated many patients during the plague epidemic of those years.

In the "Regulations on Traditional and Complementary Medicine Practices" published in the Official Gazette dated 27.10.2014 and numbered 29158, Homeopathy: It is defined as an integrative practice method that aims to improve health status with personalized homeopathic medicines. Its production and consumption are environmentally friendly. Homeopathic remedies do not deplete resources. It dynamises the existing resource, there is no need for tons of pharmaceutical raw materials. Tons of preservatives and colorants too. Homeopathic medicines are obtained from sustainable sources, there is no need to search for new sources. In other words, homeopathic medicines maintain the balance like the spirit of their own medicine.

Homeopathy is not based on a belief, not just a placebo effect, but a very good observational theory. Of course, it takes a little step into the circle to understand this. But as the poet said, if you're out of your head when you're inside yourself….
